Vineyard: A plantation of grape bearing vines, typically being made up of a collection of Blocks owned or cropped by the grape grower.

Block: Area(s) planted with vines, which is managed as the basic operational unit by the grape grower.

Sub Block: A region within a block that is considered as a specific area within the block by the grape grower.

Vine Row: An arrangement of vine laid out in a linear or curvilinear pattern, with defined row ends, such that they can be accessed by the Headlands.

Headland: An area of land without vines, that exists at the end of Vine Rows, managed in a way to facilitate access.

Mid Row: An area of land without vines, that exists between the Vine Rows, managed in a way to facilitate access.
